Michele Evans, one of the company’s partners, has worked in the construction industry since 1986. An architect with a master’s degree in engineering, she brings a unique perspective to client projects and is able to help them see the big picture from the beginning.

She also takes a fresh approach to running a construction company. Her vision of what the construction process should and can be in order to be more smooth and fun for customers is what drives her commitments, values, and actions. As a result, she has built a company with a strong reputation for integrity, quality, dependability, thoroughness and exceptional customer service. Michele leads by example, and she had therefore instilled her strong work ethic and belief in doing the 'right thing' in all of her employees. This, coupled with the sense of family created within ECCG, has made this one of the outstanding companies in the Vail Valley in which to be an employee.

Prior to founding Evans Chaffee, Michele worked as a project manager for Evans-Mendel-Allison Construction, Becon Construction in Boston, Vaughan Paul Construction in Boulder, and as a Field Engineer for Exxon Chemical Plant in Baytown, Texas.

Michele has a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering and Management from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
