Evans Chaffee Construction Group (ECCG) has chosen the Vail Valley Charitable Fund as the beneficiary of their 8th Annual ECCG Kickball Classic and Pancake Breakfast. While there were many deserving non profits that applied to be the beneficiary for this year’s event (and the decision was extremely difficult), ECCG made their final decision based on the fact that the Valley needs help with the basics at this time, such as food and helping with medical bills. In addition to helping the VVCF, ECCG will also be running a food drive for the Salvation Army at this event to help increase the food bank’s stock. The event will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the Eagle‐Vail Pavilion and surrounding fields.

All of the funds raised at this event will be designated to be used for the benefit of children in need of medical treatment within Eagle County. Evans Chaffee and VVCF hope to inspire this year’s competing teams in this popular fundraiser by assigning each team the name of a child who is faced with medical issues. The team will learn about the child, his/her family, the child’s illness, and the multiple factors involved in his/her care. The intention is to evoke spirited play, friendly competition, and an increased awareness of the important work that VVCF is doing within our community. Many of us know someone who has been helped by the VVCF in the past, and with times as tough as they are, there are even more families in need of this assistance right now. Let’s band together to help out our neighbors and friends by raising funds and food.

The 8th Annual ECCG Kickball Classic & Pancake Breakfast

Following seven successful years, Evans Chaffee Construction Group is proud to announce the 8th Annual ECCG Kickball Classic & Pancake Breakfast taking place on Saturday, August 15th, to help raise funds for the Vail Valley Charitable Fund. This year there will be another double elimination kickball tournament, so you have all day to come and join us for a little friendly competition, some great food, and most importantly, fundraising for the Vail Valley Charitable Fund!

We are inviting organizations and individuals from around the Vail Valley to come support this cause by attending the pancake breakfast, organizing a team to play in the kickball tournament (professionals and amateurs welcome), coming by for lunch sponsored by LAFARGE, or becoming a sponsor for this event. This is a way for our entire community to come together, have a great time and support those in need!
